Erias Lukwago is struggling with ill-health in jail and has twice applied for bail on this account. While a report asked for by the court from Mulago asked that he be transferred for urgent medical management abroad, the court has refused to grant him bail on each occasion. He is still at Murchison Bay in Luzira.
