Achileo was first abducted on August 1, 2024 and held by the then Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) – now called Defence Intelligence and Security (DIS) – under incommunicado detention and later charged at the military court. He was then granted bail, and abducted for the second time on February 21, 2025 and has been in jail since.
