Our Story
Established in 2023 by a group of committed and passionate individuals, AGORA stands as an online digital Public Square dedicated to promoting Human Rights, Public Accountability, and Social Justice. It was conceived as a vibrant platform to infuse new vitality and challenge conventional norms within the sector.
AGORA aspired to be both disruptive and impactful—a potent tool empowered to hold authority accountable. Devoted to fostering discussions of public interest, ensuring transparency, and advocating for social justice, AGORA strategically utilized platforms like X (formerly Twitter) to establish virtual meeting spaces, overcoming challenges associated with physical gatherings.
Expanding its digital footprint across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, AGORA launched X Spaces that have engaged audiences in discussions that have sparked curiosity and expaned frontiers of Public Discourse to new levels.
These Spaces, attracting live audiences of up to 1000 individuals and reaching 50,000 through recorded sessions, effectively conducted Online Exhibitions that uncovered widespread corruption at the highest levels of government. With over 100 spaces and numerous social justice campaigns, AGORA has expedited justice, surmounting barriers that hinder the fair administration of justice. Fearlessly tackling topics that mainstream media approaches cautiously, AGORA disrupts conventional digital tools usage, influencing social media to foster public discourse amidst tightening government restrictions on freedom of speech, assembly, and association.
